Content Studio (Overview)
Research, write, illustrate, and publish SEO-ready blog posts and avatar videos — without leaving Lodgestory.
TL;DR
- What it is — an AI content workstation that takes a source (your own page, a competitor listing, or a keyword set), produces a full blog draft, refines it through chat with diffs, generates hero images and optional avatar videos, and publishes it directly to your marketing site.
- Who it's for — hospitality marketers, in-house content leads, and founders who want to show up in Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity without a writing agency.
- Top outcome — scrape → draft → edit → publish in about 15 minutes per blog, with an optional 10-minute background video pipeline.

What is Content Studio?
The problem it solves
Content is the most under-automated part of a hospitality marketing stack. Listing-site copy gets written once and never refreshed. Competitor research lives in Google Docs. Generic AI tools produce fluent but generic drafts because they have never seen your brand's differentiation or the specific page you're trying to out-rank. And once a draft exists, turning it into a published blog with proper SEO, cross-links, and an avatar video usually means shepherding three or four separate tools plus an agency.
Content Studio collapses that stack into one workstation. It reads your own pages or competitor listings as sources, learns your voice from a brand profile you fill in once, and then generates blog drafts that are grounded in your research — not the model's training set. An editor lets you refine the draft by chatting (with visible diffs before accepting), add hero images, and optionally spin off a 60-second avatar video. One button publishes to your Lodgestory marketing site with full SEO, Open Graph, structured data, and AI-crawl-friendly metadata.
What you get
- Source pipeline — scrape your own site or a competitor's page and store it as a reusable source.
- Two-stage AI generation — live-web research pass followed by a brand-aware compose pass that matches your tone and CTA.
- Chat refinement with diffs — ask for changes, see the diff, accept or reject; every turn is saved.
- Image generation — AI hero images or upload your own; set a featured image that appears on listing cards.
- Video pipeline — turn a blog into a short-form avatar video with narration, stock or AI B-roll, and background music.
- One-click publish — the post is live on your marketing site within seconds, with SEO and AI-crawler metadata built in.
- Cross-linking — auto-suggest internal links to your other blogs to strengthen site authority.
- Team collaboration — invite editors; role-based access for viewers vs editors vs admins.
How it's different
- Grounded, not hallucinated. Research runs before writing, so the draft uses current facts from the live web.
- Brand-aware by default. Every generation reads your saved brand profile — voice, industries, products, audience, and call-to-action.
- First-class video. Most content tools stop at text. Content Studio turns a blog into a ready-to-share MP4 in the background.
- Your hosting, not a vendor subdomain. Published posts live on your own Lodgestory marketing site. Your SEO stays yours.
- AI-search-ready. Every published post exposes the metadata that AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) prefers — structured data, speakable selectors, and an AI-friendly summary file.
Customer scenarios
- Launch 20 city-page blogs in one week. Scrape each listing from your own site, generate one blog per listing, refine voice in chat, publish.
- Out-rank a competitor. Paste their OTA listing URL, get a grounded set of angles, pick one, publish.
- Spin a weekly video. Every Monday, take the latest flagship blog and generate a 60-second avatar video for LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Show up in AI search. Publish with structured data and AI-crawler metadata automatically handled; appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview answers.
How it fits with the rest of Lodgestory
- Lodgestory CRM — published blogs render on the marketing site that hosts your Web Chat widget. Visitors who open chat from a blog become CRM contacts.
- Lodgestory Voice — no direct integration, but a blog that drives an inbound call arrives at the same CRM inbox.
Core concepts
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Organisation | Your tenancy in Content Studio. One org can have multiple brand profiles. |
| Site | A domain you've added for scraping — e.g., your own site or a competitor's. |
| Source | A page that's been scraped and cleaned. The starting point for generation. |
| Suggestion | An AI-proposed blog angle derived from a source. Not a blog until you generate from it. |
| Brand profile | Your company name, voice, tone, style, products, industries, customers, and CTA. Every generation reads this. |
| Blog | The content artifact you edit and publish. |
| Cross-link | An internal link to another of your blogs, auto-suggested. |
| Video template | A reusable pairing of avatar + voice + background music + style preset. |
| Video pipeline | The multi-stage process that turns a blog into a finished video. |

How it works
- You add a site. Content Studio discovers pages, fetches them, and extracts a clean version.
- You pick a source. Content Studio either recreates the source in your voice or proposes fresh angles.
- A live-web research pass gathers current facts; a compose pass writes the blog in your tone.
- You refine in chat. Each turn produces a diff you can accept or reject.
- You add images (AI or upload) and, optionally, kick off a video.
- You click Publish. The post flows to your Lodgestory marketing site and appears within seconds with full SEO and AI-crawler metadata.
You never touch raw code, a third-party hosting dashboard, or a separate video editor.
Modules inside Content Studio
- Editor & Composition — the split-pane editor with chat, images, and publishing.
- AI Content Generation — the two-stage research + compose pipeline and brand-aware prompts.
- Media Generation — hero images, avatar videos, narration, B-roll, and music.
- Sources & Scraping — discovering, fetching, and cleaning source pages.
- Publishing to CRM — how drafts become live public pages with SEO, sitemap, and AI-crawl metadata.
Cross-product workflows
A. Competitor listing → better version → AI search indexed
Scrape the competitor listing → suggest angles → generate → refine → publish. Within minutes the blog is on your marketing site and eligible for AI-search indexing (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews).
B. Blog → avatar video → cross-channel
Publish the blog → Generate Video → choose avatar and voice → pipeline runs in the background → finished MP4 shared on LinkedIn, Instagram, and X.
C. Keyword set → SEO-targeted suggestions → ranking page
Pick a target keyword set → SEO-targeted suggestions → generate → publish. Your listing on that keyword builds over weeks.
